    Even with the option to purchase HBO Now directly outside of traditional Pay TV packages, HBO’s very popular “Game of Thrones” series remains a prime target for illegal downloads. Last Sunday’s season five finale was no exception. Piracy remains a major concern for networks and content owners. According to Bit Torrent’s own news site, TorrentFreak, the GOT finale set a new piracy record with an estimated 1.5 million illegal downloads of the episode within eight hours of the episode’s airing.
